Test engineer (Laboratory)

We launched a new investment in May 2017 in an area of approx.. 100,000 square meters where a new plant will operate being responsible for manufacturing thyssenkrupp coil springs and stabilizers just like in other locations worldwide in Europe, Asia and North- and South-America. We will provide leading car manufacturers with more than 6 million coil springs and stabilizers. That’s why, we continuously increase the number of our company’s employees in Debrecen. Main tasks, responsibilities

Independent setting-up of appropriate test-beds
Fracture analysis of tested components
Cooperation in the acquisition of attachment parts, in assuring the capacity utilization of the test-beds, in the creation of test and maintenance schedules, in the assurance of the maintenance works
Independent preparing of samples
Carrying out radiographic diffraction and micro-hardness measurements
Analysis of test results, generating appropriate reports, compiling macroscopic and microscopic analyses
Assuring compliance with possible calibration instructions
Setting-up the appropriate facilities, creating test and maintenance schedules
Determining the material quality
Carrying out heat treatment of samples
Saving the determined analyses on appropriate storage media
Release of test-bed facilities
Generating reports independently and filing them according to the state of technology

Requirements

Degree in Materials Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
At least 3 years work experience in material analyses, appearances of fractures and/or as research or test-bed engineer of chassis components
Experience in materials and process engineering in steel processing
Confident handling of MS-Office products
Good command of English (German is an advantage)

Personality

Success-oriented, independent thinking
Team-worker ability
Good communication and able to work on own initiative
Good organizational and planning skills
